Red Cross NALS Certification

Service Description

Developed by the American Red Cross and the Association of Women’s Health, Obstetric and Neonatal Nurses (AWHONN), NALS uniquely fills critical gaps in neonatal resuscitation training — especially in underserved areas. This program equips healthcare clinicians and emergency responders with essential skills needed to improve newborn outcomes. NALS curriculum focuses on neonatal anatomy, physiology, and pearls of emergency care, pharmacology, airway management, and high-quality teamwork as a part of a resuscitation effort. NALS courses are offered in original and recertification courses, with both instructor led and blended learning formats available. Total in-person training lengths range from 3-12 hours.
