This course provides participants with the knowledge and skills needed to recognize and respond to opioid overdoses using Narcan® (naloxone). Students will learn how opioids affect the body, identify the signs and symptoms of an overdose, and safely administer naloxone via intranasal delivery. Emphasis is placed on scene safety, patient assessment, rescue breathing, and post-administration care until advanced medical help arrives.
 

Designed for first responders, healthcare providers, workplace safety teams, and community members, this training empowers participants to take immediate, lifesaving action during opioid overdose emergencies. No prior medical experience is required.

Upon completion of Narcan Training students are issued a 2 year Opioid Overdose and Naloxone certification accredited for CME and valid for two years.
