Red Cross Basic Life Support (BLS)
Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers (BLS) uses a scenario-based approach to develop the critical thinking and problem solving skills that drive better patient outcomes. Covers breathing and cardiac emergencies - including CPR, AED, and obstructed airway - for adult, child, and infant patients. Focused on both individual providers and teams.

Red Cross Advanced Life Support (ALS)
Throughout the Red Cross ALS course, you'll learn advanced life support assessment, as well as how to best manage respiratory emergencies, and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) protocols for acute arrhythmias, cardiac arrest (including post-cardiac arrest care), acute coronary syndromes and acute stroke within or outside of a medical facility setting.

Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
Throughout your PALS course, you'll learn to assess, recognize and provide high-quality care to pediatric patients experiencing life-threatening medical emergencies, including shock, cardiac and respiratory events, as well as how to provide care after the return of spontaneous circulation (ROSC) during a resuscitation effort. In addition, our course will challenge your critical-thinking and problem-solving skills, and help improve your teamwork skills to provide better patient care.

First Aid/CPR/AED
This First Aid/CPR/AED course provides essential life-saving skills for responding to medical emergencies in any environment. Participants will learn how to assess victims, perform high-quality CPR, use an automated external defibrillator (AED), and manage injuries such as bleeding, burns, and fractures. The course combines hands-on practice with scenario-based training to build confidence and readiness for real-world situations.

Life Threatening Bleeding & Tourniquet Application
This course focuses on the rapid recognition and control of life-threatening bleeding using proven techniques and equipment. Participants will gain hands-on experience applying direct pressure, wound packing, and tourniquets under realistic conditions. Designed for both civilians and professionals, this training builds critical skills to save lives when every second counts.

HNMBJI+Splinting
This splinting course teaches the assessment and stabilization of fractures, dislocations, and soft tissue injuries in both urban and remote environments. Participants will learn to improvise and apply a variety of splints to immobilize limbs and reduce further injury. Through hands-on scenarios, students will develop the confidence and skills needed to manage musculoskeletal injuries in the field.

Wilderness & Remote First Aid
This Wilderness and Remote First Aid course prepares participants to respond to medical emergencies in austere, resource-limited environments far from definitive care. Students will learn to assess and treat injuries, manage environmental threats, and make evacuation decisions when help is hours or days away. The course emphasizes practical, hands-on skills and scenario-based training tailored for outdoor professionals, adventure travelers, and remote responders.

Blood-borne Pathogens
Designed for those who are at risk for on the job exposure to blood and other bodily fluids in the workplace. The course teaches staff how bloodborne pathogens are spread how to avoid exposure and what to do if exposed to infectious material. This course is one of the requirements of the OSHA Bloodborne Pathogens Standard.

Emergency Medical Responder (EMR)
The Emergency Medical Responder (EMR) course provides foundational training for individuals who are first to respond to medical emergencies, often bridging the gap between bystanders and advanced EMS care. Students will learn to assess patients, provide lifesaving interventions, manage trauma and medical emergencies, and operate in both individual and team-based settings. This intensive course combines classroom instruction, hands-on skill development, and scenario-based practice to prepare participants for real-world emergency response.

Medication Administration
These specialized courses train participants to recognize and respond to life-threatening respiratory and allergic emergencies, including opioid overdose, anaphylaxis, and severe asthma attacks. Students will learn how to administer naloxone (Narcan), epinephrine auto-injectors, and rescue inhalers safely and effectively. The training emphasizes rapid assessment, proper use of life-saving medications, and critical decision-making in high-stress situations.

First Aid/CPR/AED Instructor

Basic Life Support Instructor (BLS-I)
The Basic Life Support (BLS) Instructor course prepares healthcare professionals to teach high-quality CPR and advanced resuscitation skills to a variety of audiences. Participants will learn instructional strategies, student evaluation techniques, and how to lead BLS courses using evidence-based guidelines. CPR for Professional Rescuers (CPRO)
The CPR for Professional Rescuers course provides advanced training in cardiac and respiratory emergency response for individuals in public safety, healthcare, and emergency services. Participants will learn two-rescuer CPR, use of bag-valve masks (BVMs), AED operation, and care for special circumstances such as drowning or opioid overdose. This hands-on course emphasizes rapid response, teamwork, and high-performance resuscitation techniques required in professional rescue settings.

Variable Threat Assessment & Response (VTAR)
The Variable Threat Assessment & Response course (VTAR), is designed to inform
students on the evolving and dynamic threat matrix presented by terrorism, primarily within the
United States, and enable them to prepare for these threats and respond appropriately.

STOP THE BLEED
The American College Of Surgeons/DHS STOP THE BLEED Course empowers students to act immediately in controlling life-threatening hemorrhage as the result of severe trauma. Taught in a two hour, instructor-led format, students will learn multiple techniques through lecture and hands-on skills practice including wound packing, pressure bandaging, and tourniquet application.
