Class Descriptions

Basic Life Support (BLS)

American Red Cross BLS training classes can help you safely and effectively respond to medical emergencies in your community. By blending reading and lecture with hands-on experience, our Basic Life Support training allows you to learn new techniques and sharpen your skills so you can deliver care to those in need and help improve patient outcomes. Available for individuals and teams, our BLS courses are modular and flexible – and can help you meet your organization's standards for care. Available in both blended learning and instructor-led options, both being about 4.5 hours in length. 

 

Advanced Life Support (ALS)

Advanced Life Support (ALS) training, also known as ACLS training from the American Red Cross builds on your BLS skills to help you deliver a greater level of care. Featuring science-based curriculum and personalized instruction, ALS classes use a scenario-based approach and focus on medically complex cases requiring advanced interventions. American Red Cross ALS, PALS, and NALS certifications are valid for two years. ALS Class Formats: In-person and Blended Learning.  Participants in the American Red Cross Advanced Life Support course must be proficient in adult basic life support skills.

Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)

PALS training can help you provide life-saving care to infants and children during times of crisis. Using a science-based curriculum, personalized instruction and a scenario-based approach, our PALS course will help you learn to assess patients, provide advanced interventions, and improve critical-thinking skills so you can provide better care more confidently. American Red Cross ALS, PALS, and NALS certifications are valid for two years. PALS Training Formats: In-person and Blended Learning.  Participants in the American Red Cross Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) course must be proficient in child and infant basic life support (BLS) skills. 

Adult & Pediatric First Aid/CPR/AED 

The 2021 Adult and Pediatric First Aid/CPR/AED blended learning course equips students to recognize and care for a variety of first aid breathing and cardiac emergencies involving adults children and infants. It is designed for students who need a certification that satisfies OSHA workplace or other regulatory requirements. This class is taught in a blended learning format and the online portion (accessed via mobile desktop or tablet) must be completed prior to attending the Instructor-led skills session. Upon successful completion a valid 2 year digital certificate for Adult and Pediatric First Aid/CPR/AED is issued.

First Aid/CPR/AED Instructor

This course will train instructor candidates to teach basic-level American Red Cross First Aid CPR and AED courses. In order to participate in this course you must possess a current basic-level American Red Cross First Aid/CPR/AED (or higher level) certification or equivalent and be at least 16 years of age on the last day of the instructor course. Upon registration it is important that you review and follow the directions on the e-mail attachment sent with your registration confirmation. This is a blended learning course consisting of online content a skills session and classroom segments. Online material must be completed prior to attending the classroom activities. Basic Life Support Instructor (BLS-I)

This course will train instructor candidates to teach the American Red Cross Basic lIfe Support curriculum. In order to participate in this course you must possess a current American Red Cross BLS certification or equivalent (or higher level) certification or equivalent. Upon registration it is important that you review and follow the directions on the e-mail attachment sent with your registration confirmation. This is a blended learning course consisting of online content a skills session and classroom segments. Online material must be completed prior to attending the classroom activities. Refunds & Reschedule Policy

To cancel or reschedule, please contact us 48 hours in advance via onxdynamics@gmail.com or (888)831-4804. Refunds cannot be issued for cancellations within 48 hours of class start time. Rescheduling outside of 48 hours of class start time is permitted with no fee. Rescheduling within 48 hours cannot be guaranteed if classes are full and will come with a 25% rescheduling fee payable at time of rescheduling.
